30 Punk & Hardcore bands from across the globe have united on Hardcore4Syria’s free online music compilation with one specific purpose: To help raise awareness for the humanitarian crisis in Syria and to share their powerful and motivational music and lyrics with the innocent victims there - and with you!
Dive in and get inspired by these bands, their songs, their music and their message!
We’d like to thank each and everyone of these bands for their support and contributions. The Syrian people will not forget your generosity and thoughts.
We are very proud and touched to announce that more than 20 Punk and Hardcore bands from around the globe have donated a song to our free music compilation that will be available for download right here at the end of August.
Unfortunately, the humanitarian crisis is worsening so quickly and casualties of the government-led suppression are increasing so fast that it is virtually impossible to publish an infographic that is up-to-date. We have reviewed the infographic 3 times in the last few weeks, trying to factor in recent events, but just can’t keep up with the disturbing and disillusioning news.
However, we’ve decided to publish it anyway, and hope that it will still serve as a useful reference of how the events unfolded in this long quest for freedom by the Syrian people.
… and if you’re in any way moved by the numbers of casualties of this uprising… why not Donate some money to those most affected?

Credit and Thanks go to our altruistic and punk designer for designing this for us!
We are immensely proud to present this clip of Chris #2 from Anti-Flag!
Anti-Flag have supported Hardcore4Syria from day 1… and will feature on our compilation with the Ranks of the Masses Risin’ song (chorus is used on this clip). We got a chance to film Chris Barker (Chris #2) who is bassist and singer for Anti-Flag, giving this personal message of solidarity with the Syrian people.
We’re also proud that he wore one of our t-shirts. Great guy.
Get up! Get up! Your voices are needed. Become, become the pulse of the revolutions … in the ranks of the masses risin’.
Erich (left) and Ian, bass player and singer of the Swiss Hardcore-punkrock band Entwaffnung are deeply moved by the situation in Syria and have kindly contributed a song to our upcoming online compilation (stay tuned - not long now!).
Entwaffnung is a German word that effectively means ‘Disarmed’.
Their contributed song ‘Bitte was?!’ will be in German as well and is a song about the drabness of living a ‘regular’ life. It deals with feeling trapped in a rut without perspective, possibilities or any choices.
